Since the time I signed up for the first season of HSR, I have been working in the school newspaper club. I have found it interesting and entertaining to participate in writing activities and publishing my writings, which is how I learned about HSR while searching for more activities related to journalism.

I applied to HSR because I thought HSR was something related to journalism, which has been one of my interests until now. I wanted to continue on what I like to do beyond the range of in-school club activity, so I applied to HSR.

The most distinctive benefit I earned from HSR was that I learned more about current news and what is happening around the world. This definitely benefited my studies as many subjects require or is beneficial for students who know a lot of deep understandings about current affairs or general knowledge.

The most memorable aspect of my past six months with HSR was that I realized myself finding it easier to find and decide the monthly topic for my writing. At first, it took some time for me to find appropriate news as I did not know much about what is happening around the world compared to now. I found out that I became more and more attentive to what happens around me and the world, which was memorable because I felt that I grew a lot as an individual while participating in HSR.

I would say that the biggest advantage of joining HSR is that I can learn and grow myself while working as HSR. The process of deciding my topics, searching for information, and participating in writing factual journalism allowed me to develop myself one step further, which is definitely helpful and beneficial for oneself.

Time with HSR has been a magnificent opportunity to learn more about the world news and enhance my writing skills. I have learned a lot of knowledge and information through HSR, and I am highly willing to participate in HSR again for next season.
